Old Room

On Monday I cleaned out and organized my old room for the new 2nd grade teacher.  I tried to make things as easy as possible by sorting things by subject before putting them in the lockers.  Hopefully it will save her some time when she moves her things in.I left this boarder up because it was a chore to get it up around the SMART board.  Once again I thought it might make her life easier.I am going to MISS my SMART board.  I only had it for the last few weeks of school.

Christmas Party

We had a wonderful Christmas party.  Lots of goodies from such terrific parents!

Christmas Program @ School

In 2nd Grade we practice several Christmas songs that we sing for the elementary school as well as the local nursing home.

Gingerbread Houses

The students enjoyed building their own gingerbread houses and were quite creative!

Power Team

The Power Team came to visit our school to teach  the students to say NO to drugs, alcohol, and bullying.  The kids LOVED to see all of the great and amazing things the members could do.Rowdy was a helper and so was McKenzie's dad.

3rd Six Weeks Academic Pep Rally

Since the Power Team had recently visited SES Lady Bug and Cricket decided on a pep rally with the same theme.  Lady Bug was going to try out for the Power Team.  Of course everyone enjoyed the entertainment.Cole was my 'Panther Pride' award winner and Carson was the gym boy award winner.Students were also recognized for the A honor roll, AB honor roll and for perfect attendance for the six weeks.  Congratulations to all of you!B
